What I Do and How I Can Help You

If you're here, it might be because you were intrigued by my thoughts as to what branding is really all about, and what outcomes are acheived from it in the context of a business.

  • Just as any reputable doctor would, a diagnosis is simply an assessment of a the market’s situation. I believe any professional and or consultant has a moral obligation to perform a diagnosis prior to prescribing action (i.e. a strategy). To not diagnose a problem in any other regulated field would be considered malpractice.

    In my context, this would include me helping you with activities like market segmentation, market research, brand diagnosis, and brand research.

  • “Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.”

    Having a strategy means making informed choices that positions you to win. The essence of strategy is choosing what not to do, and to look for attractive part of the market where you can compete and win—if everything is a priority, nothing is.

    In my context, this would include me helping you with activities within the marketing and brand management mix such as targeting, positioning, and defining short and long-term marketing objectives.

  • Following a clear and defined strategy we can now execute the specific, individual steps used to execute a strategy.

    In my context, this would involve me helping you with activities within the marketing and brand management mix like the ‘4P’s’ of marketing (product, price, place, promotion), and also executing your brand assets to different mediums, channels, and environments.
